MY SERVICES

 what do i do best?

Welcome to what I hope is an easy decision in choosing a holistic medicine approach. I love pulling from ancient healing techniques and using the power of modern medicine to create sessions and health plans that focus on getting to the root of your issues.

One of my missions is empowering clients to take their health into their own hands; it is the only way to ensure you can maintain and stay on course when no one else is there helping them. We all need to feel in control of our body, mind and spirit, even when answers are not readily available. Life is about finding yourself; let's get started!

what they're saying

I went into my first appointment without expectations or prior knowledge of what acupuncture could do, but now I’m absolutely obsessed! Melanie is amazing at what she does, and I feel like I new person since being treated by her. She is very educated in all areas of wellness and has an incredibly calming spirit. Every appointment with her is such a treat, and I leave feeling completely renewed.

Bodywork

Cupping, Gua Sha and Tui Na massage are used during bodywork sessions to move qi and blood to relieve aches, pains and stress in the body, to name a few. These ancient techniques are rooted in Traditional Chinese medicine and are incredibly relaxing and effective.

Craniosacral therapy is an incredible health therapy for the mind, body and spirit. It's rooted in the concept that movement equals health. A restriction is anything that makes it harder for us to move. So whenever some form of stress occurs to the body (physical, mental or emotional, the body can't distinguish the difference), it tries to help keep things moving by compensating for it. When the body can't compensate anymore, that's when people start experiencing the physical expressions of it, ranging from migraines to ringing in the ears, to sleep problems, and even to pain in an area of the body

Treatment options

  • Sessions using traditional fire cupping, air and silicon cupping techniques, and Tui Na and Gua Sha (when needed) are used during an acupuncture treatment.

Energy Work

Reiki "reɪ-kee" is a Japanese technique that promotes healing and is administered by "laying on hands" in different positions along the body, working with the life force energy or Qi that flows through us and causes us to be alive. If one's life force energy or Qi is low, we are more likely to get sick or feel stressed; if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.

Treatment options

  • Chill Sessions: acupuncture and reiki

  • Soften & Unwind: acupuncture, reiki, essential oils, bodywork and more

  • Reiki sessions
