Starting Saturday, March 4th, we are opening up bookings for sliding-scale community-style acupuncture at EastND PEI. These sessions will happen twice a month to start.
Sliding scale refers to a payment structure where you pay what you can afford within a scale. For example, these treatments will be sliding between $35 - $65 a session; you choose what you can afford, simple as that.
Community acupuncture means multiple people are treated simultaneously in a group setting on reclining chairs. Our clinic can accommodate 3 at a time; we will see how this grows and takes shape. This is one of my favourite ways to treat, so I am honoured to have the space to do it.
Sessions include a quick chat and a 30- 40-minute acupuncture session. These sessions must be paid for upfront, either by credit card on file or e-transfer, and you can also use your benefit insurance plans.
